Ash, Ashford

Our clients from Ashford, Kent approached us with the goal of renovating their home in order to increase natural light and create a more functional space.

We approached this project with a focus on the surrounding woodland and the style of the existing garage, and aimed to create a design that would harmonise with the surrounding environment.

To achieve this goal, we proposed the removal of an internal wall to create an open plan kitchen and dining area. We also relocated the kitchen to enhance functionality which created a functional utility space. By using the long rectangular rooms as two separate open plan spaces, this gave the illusion of a full square space.

Our design also included the addition of an extra bedroom without the need for a separate extension, ensuring that the existing footprint was utilised to its fullest potential.

The result was a brighter, more usable home that was perfectly suited to our clients needs and lifestyle.
