This captivating project involves the remarkable transformation of an old blacksmiths building into an alluring and practical living space that harmoniously connects with the existing residential dwelling.

With full planning permission granted for the conversion, our team has been tasked with the construction of a single-storey infill extension, the installation of front and rear roof lights, the creation of a rear balcony with a dormer, a rebuild of the front wall, and various internal alterations. Additionally, the project includes the construction of a detached workshop, access, driveway and fence (part retrospective), providing enhanced functionality and aesthetic appeal to the overall design.

The proposed works have been thoughtfully designed to match the existing build, incorporating the same materials and aesthetic appeal, while introducing modern elements through the inclusion of the balcony and rear double doors. The open-plan kitchen features a dining table integrated into the kitchen island, and a space for a pool table adjacent to the living area, with two sets of double doors opening out to the rear garden, providing a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living.
