We are pleased to announce that householder planning permission is granted for a single storey rear extension with a lean to roof in, Ashford, Kent.

We were tasked with the creation of a single storey rear extension to expand the kitchen to enhance the indoor and outdoor entertaining space. Our goal was to modernise the home while retaining its traditional design elements, which were reminiscent of the late 90s when the home was originally built.

Maximising natural light was a top priority, which inspired us to incorporate sliding doors and roof lights in the extension design. The cascading steps leading down to the garden not only added a touch of elegance, but also create a more expansive appearance for the outdoor space.

Our clients desired a cosy seating area outside the double doors, and we responded by designing an overhanging roof that not only ads a touch of uniformity, but also creates a charming nook for relaxation.

Overall, the single storey rear extension will greatly enhance the daily life of its residents while positively impacting the surrounding area and community.
